Wahine Wellness – Women’s Health, Matariki Fertility
Matariki is upon us . A great time to acknowledge those that walked before us, reflect and let go of that which doesn’t serve us to bring in the essence of wellbeing, our human birth right and our fullest potential.
During a Romiromi treatment I often remind people of our visible and tangible ancestors, the Sun-Tama Nui Te Ra, Papatuanuku and Ranginui and our beloved constellation of Matariki.
I’ve been doing a lot of fertility treatments this month. There must be many souls wanting to incarnate again at this auspicious time of Matariki rising!
This work is very sacred and very humbling. Sexual interference(abuse) is an issue for many many women. It can be a major block for fertility and conception.
How does a traditional Maori healing treatment work ? In a safe environment we start with a korero/talk. Beginning with karakia on the table I look to where the blockage is. As I open up the body energetically ( for the release of blockages) I start to work on the haemata of the body and often have a korero to help release the emotional energy attached to the interference.
The mauri (life essence/principle) is very clever in that it can leave the body at the time of interference to reduce the trauma. However the memory is still trapped in the physical body at a cellular level. Acknowledging and accepting this experience is an important step in releasing the memory/trauma to bringing your body back into balance and wellness.
Towards the end of a treatment we go to specific haemata(pressure points) that help release the cellular memory and call back that part of the mauri that left.
Towards the end of a treatment I will often use my pounamu on the body, the healing stone of Aotearoa, to help release the trauma on a vibrational level. In closing I will use my pounamu pendulum in the auric field to take off any residue.
Usually the energy centres that were blocked at the start of the treatment are now open as the body experiences a sense of lightness and freedom having returned closer to one’s original vibration through the releasing and letting go process.
With multiple layers of abuse I will recommend extra treatments.
The tupuna/ancestors are always present in their deep love for their descendants.
