Rotorua Massage – Traditional Romiromi Massage
What To Do In Rotorua
Island Massage – Gulf Islands – Waiheke Island – Great Barrier Island
Returning to the Gulf Islands this summer. Must be in the blood. I lived on Rakiura (Stewart Island) for a year when I was a teenager and Waiheke Island more recently.
We have a whanau (family) home on Aotea (Great Barrier Island) at Whangaparapara, so I will be available for traditional Romiromi massage and healing after Christmas at Waimanu Lodge… 27th , 28th, 29th December.
If you are on the Island you can call 09 4290249 and talk to my Mum to book in.
Treat yourself to a Christmas present or simply get ready for the New Year… You deserve it!
Romiromi massage is a great fast way to lose all the blocked energy (tension) you are holding… giving your body, mind and soul more space and freedom, replacing with vitality and flowing positive energy… mmm sound good?
Another uniqueness about our ancient body therapy is that your wairua( spirit) and mauri (life force) is synchronized bringing you back into balance!
I am excited about holding my first Waiheke Island Romiromi Massage and Healing Workshop at Piritahi Marae over Waitangi weekend 3rd ,4th, 5th February
Our Te Arawa ancestor Kahumatamomoe (son of Tama Te Kapua) stopped off at Waiheke Island marrying one of the local wahine.
The main maunga (mountain) on Waiheke Island is named after him – Putiki o Kahu (the top knot of Kahumatamomoe).
Piritahi Marae is a magnificent location almost right on the beach at Huruhi Bay. The day after our workshop, the Waiheke tangata whenua (local people belonging to the land) will be hosting Waitangi day celebrations at the marae, February 6th.
This is a wonderful event I try to get to every year. I will be there in the wharenui (main meeting house) offering Romiromi massage and healing.
Nau mai heare mai! Welcome!
